Foreign Media Representatives at “ASAN Service”
A visit to the “ASAN Service” was arranged for media representatives from the territories that were under French colonial rule.
At the meeting, the concept of “ASAN Service”, as well as the experience of citizens effectively using relevant government services were introduced to the guests. Ideas were exchanged regarding the possible adoption of this model in regions impacted by colonial legacy.
During the meeting, participants became closely acquainted with ASAN volunteers and their activities, and the principles of volunteering were discussed. The intention was expressed to conduct training sessions for volunteers from the islands.
It was emphasized that sharing the “ASAN Service” experience and implementing similar initiatives could be beneficial in terms of expanding prospects for international cooperation.
