Minister of Uganda visits "ASAN Service"
A delegation led by John Mulimba, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uganda, currently on a visit to Azerbaijan, familiarized themselves with the operations of an “ASAN Service” center.
Welcoming the guests, Jeyhun Salmanov, Deputy Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, provided an overview of the “ASAN Service” centers, established at the initiative of President Ilham Aliyev, as well as the innovative solutions applied in the field of public service delivery. It was highlighted that this Azerbaijani intellectual brand is currently being exported to more than 30 countries worldwide.
During the meeting, the parties discussed ongoing efforts to further enhance the operations of the service centers in Uganda, which were established based on the “ASAN Service” model.
The Ugandan Minister noted the increasing level of citizen satisfaction resulting from the operations of these service centers in his country and expressed his gratitude to the Azerbaijani side for the support provided. He also emphasized Uganda's interest in adopting the mobile “ASAN Service” model, which ensures the accessibility of public services for citizens.
It is worth noting that there are currently 6 centers operating in Uganda, established based on the “ASAN Service” experience.
The delegation was also provided with detailed information regarding the activities of the “INNOLAND” Incubation and Acceleration Center and the public legal entity “ABAD”.
