SOCAR and “ASAN service” signed a Memorandum of Understanding
On October 21, 2016, there was signed a Memorandum of Understanding between SOCAR and the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan regarding the mutual cooperation in the field of activities of “ABAD” center.

On October 21, 2016, there was signed a Memorandum of Understanding between SOCAR and the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan regarding the mutual cooperation in the field of activities of “ABAD” center.
Also, within the event, there was conducted a signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement between SOCAR and the State Agency regarding the fields of education and training issues, voluntary activities, environmental protection and security, information technology, contemporary and innovative technologies, social responsibility and other fields within “ASAN service” centers.
The Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Inam Karimov mentioned, that in the frame of cooperation, it is considered to conduct reciprocal measures jointly with SOCAR in the field of financial and technical support, application of innovation and to attract investments to the projects implemented by “ABAD” center. Inam Karimov noted, that two national Azerbaijani brands – SOCAR and “ASAN service” will deliver its invaluable contribution to the development of formation of the third national brand – “ABAD”.
Afterwards, President of SOCAR, Rovnag Abdullayev mentioned, that by this memorandum SOCAR is aimed to contribute its income in the field of oil and gas to non-oil sector and development of small business. He noted that “ABAD” centers would implement socially oriented projects supporting active participation of citizens in the socio-economic development in Azerbaijan, development of small and medium-sized enterprises, increasing the level of employment and development of competitive family farms.
At the end of event, a group of “ASAN service” staff and volunteers were awarded with Honorary Degrees and Certificates for demonstration high activity and fruitful cooperation in the field of promotion of SOCAR bonds.
