There was held an event for schoolgirls at Masally “ASAN life” complex
On November 6, Masally “ASAN life” complex hosted an event dedicated to schoolgirls.
Event was organized by “ASAN service”, Ministry of Education, “Azər Türk Bank” (Azer Turk Bank) OJSC and “Femmes Digitales” Azerbaijani Women in ICT Club.
Representatives of Azer Turk Bank, B.EST Solutions, MONT, Microsoft, Cybernet and Ultra Technologies spoke at the event about the ICT's role in the life of the society, opportunities for education and career. The practical part of the event was also held in the frame of presentation by "IT STEP" Academy, established within Baku Vocational Lyceum No. 9.
Later on, there was conducted a training on “Leadership” by a representative of the Ministry of Education.
During the practical exercises, participants learned about various robotics and automated testing mechanisms, using visual aids to gain access to basic knowledge in this field.
Within the framework of the program there was organized an intellectual game "Brain-ring" among girls studying in general educational institutions of Masally region. Winners of the game were awarded with diplomas and symbolic gifts.
It should be noted that the main purpose of the event was to raise the level of participation of girls in ICT, promotion of this field for their future careers and training of potential staff.
