There was conducted a presentation ceremony on the software for provision of payment of the State Migration Services penalties via “ASAN pay” system

On October 27, 2016, there was held a presentation of the software in Baku, which ensured payment of the penalties imposed by the State Migration Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan through the "ASAN payment" system.

New electronic service of the State Migration Service considers delivery of services engaged in penalties, imposed by foreign nationals and stateless persons who abandoned the Republic of Azerbaijan to the “ASAN pay” portal, which provides for convenience and timely payment through the terminals initiated by the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic Azerbaijan.

Deputy Chief of the State Migration Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan Parviz Musayev and Deputy Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ulvi Mehdiyev and representatives of the International Organization for Migration, EU and BP participated in the event.

Deputy Chairman of the State Agency Ulvi Mehdiyev by his speech gave a detailed information about the e-government building policy in our country, including the activities of the State Agency in this area and the achievements of our country by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

It was noted that "ASAN pay" system, which is a solution of many electronic issues, developed by the State Agency, was established on February 11, 2014 by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and was put into operation on 5 January 2015. The internet portal and the terminals located in public places and government agencies are a multifunctional payment system that provides electronic payment on administrative penalties.

At present, public utilities, communication fees, as well as some services provided by “ASAN service” centers are also paid by the state system. Approximately 60 state agencies, including the State Migration Service, have already joined to the system.

U.Mehdiyev emphasized that the introduction of the new electronic service of the State Migration Service is one of the important steps in ensuring the effective implementation of migration policy in Azerbaijan and the development of e-government in our country while ensuring the convenience of foreign citizens and stateless persons visiting Azerbaijan.

Deputy Chairman also mentioned about the new service, so called “ASAN Visa” system, which will be launched soon, adding that foreign citizens can access their country entries in a convenient and operative way online.

At the end of the event, participants were demonstrated the possibilities of "ASAN pay" terminals installed at Heydar Aliyev International Airport.
