The city of Busan of the Republic of Korea hosted an event entitled “Government 3.0 Global Forum”, which was held on November 9-10, 2016. Within this event, Azerbaijan was represented by a delegation of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The city of Busan of the Republic of Korea hosted an event entitled “Government 3.0 Global Forum”, which was held on November 9-10, 2016. Within this event, Azerbaijan was represented by a delegation of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The aim of the event was determination of modern calls in the field of administration and hold discussions of the recent innovations. Also, this event carried a role of platform to demonstrate a successful example of the reciprocal networking among the state and citizens.
Later, Minister of Interior of the Republic of Korea, Mr. Yun-Sik Hong and the Mayor of Busan, Byung-Su Suh greeted all participants of event and emphasized that, the conduction of this event is core objective occurred by modern calls.
Forum was opened by a keynote speech given by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea Hwang Kyo-ahn. During the speech, Prime Minister concerned on the essence of the event, role of innovation in contemporary world, share of advanced practices. The event was attended by officials of the Republic of Korea, other foreign countries, high ranged offices of various international organizations and academicians.
In the framework of the forum, Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations, Inam Karimov took a floor during the panel entitled “Another Smart Government”. He delivered information about the recent reforms implemented in the field of improvement of public administration and modernization conducted by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and made a comprehensive presentation on the successful activity of the model of “ASAN service” as a part of those reforms.
I.Karimov stressed on the innovative applications, cooperation of public-private sectors as essential points to enhance the public administration. Delivery of the public as well as private services to citizens from one spot by the winner of the UN Public Service Delivery Award and Azerbaijani Brand – “ASAN service” was mentioned as a successful practice. It was drew to attention, that there have been conducting various cooperation with “ASAN service” to apply such a model in other countries too.
Presentation was met with a high interest.
Need note, that within the visit there had been held a bilateral meetings with the Minister of Interior of the Republic of Korea, Minister of State for State Reform and Simplification of France, the Minister for administrative and bureaucratic reforms of the Republic of Indonesia, General Commissioner of the National Information Commission of Nepal, Tanzania's Permanent Secretary Office of the President on the management of public services and with representatives of other state agencies.
