Another Contract Finalized for the Export of the "ASAN Service" Brand
On June 3–4, 2025, a delegation headed by Olivier Boucal, the Minister of Public Service and Public Service Reform of the Republic of Senegal, visited Azerbaijan at the invitation of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Ulvi Mehdiyev, Chairman of the State Agency, provided the visitor with comprehensive insights into the operations of the "ASAN Service" centers, which were established at the initiative of President Ilham Aliyev, along with various projects executed in the field of social innovation.
It was highlighted that this Azerbaijani intellectual brand has been exported to over 25 countries globally. Ulvi Mehdiyev expressed his pleasure with the growing collaboration and his willingness to offer extensive support for the application of the "ASAN Service" model in Senegal. It was also underscored that the signed cooperation agreement would further enhance these ties.
The Senegalese Minister remarked that the workings of "ASAN Service" made a significant impact on him and underscored the system's crucial role in making public services accessible to the populace. He acknowledged the high degree of professionalism and effectiveness of the model, as well as the extensive opportunities it provides to expedite service delivery for citizens. The Minister also expressed the Senegalese side’s eagerness to hasten efforts to implement this model in Senegal under the framework of the signed cooperation agreement.
After the discussions, a signing ceremony took place for a Memorandum of Understanding between the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Public Service and Public Service Reform of the Republic of Senegal.
The Memorandum details the establishment of the "ASAN Service" model in the Republic of Senegal, the provision of internships for Senegalese civil servants at the "ASAN xidmət" centers, and the transfer of best practices by the State Agency’s specialists regarding public service delivery to the Senegalese side.
The guests also engaged with the functions of the "ASAN Service" center, the ASAN Innovative Development Center, the "INNOLAND" Incubation and Acceleration Center, the "Bilim Bakı" center, and the "Mobile ASAN" service.
The visit by the delegation from the Republic of Senegal to Azerbaijan is currently in progress.
