"ABAD" celebrated its 9th anniversary

A celebration was held to commemorate the ninth anniversary of the "ABAD" public legal entity, which operates under the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

During the event, Ulvi Mehdiyev, Chairman of the State Agency, extended his congratulations to the staff of the entity on this significant milestone and expressed his best wishes for their future success.
Rufat Elchiyev, Director of the "ABAD" public legal entity, presented a report detailing the activities of the organization over the past nine years. He highlighted that in the last year, "ABAD" has further broadened its scope: presentations were conducted in areas that were liberated from occupation, honey products sourced from these regions were branded and made available for sale, and exports to the U.S. market were initiated. Additionally, online sales through the "Wolt Market" platform were enhanced, and "ABAD" products were introduced in five new retail outlets. Moreover, several new product lines were launched on the market.
Starting with just 7 families in Masalli as a pilot initiative, "ABAD" has successfully assisted 677 families in establishing their own businesses over its nine years of operation. Among these entrepreneurs, 508 are skilled artisans dedicated to reviving and preserving our traditional decorative-applied arts. Furthermore, 144 participants of "ABAD" are engaged in the production of high-quality, natural food products, while 25 entrepreneurs are thriving in various sectors.
At the event, employees who excelled in their official roles were recognized and awarded certificates of appreciation.
The "ABAD" public legal entity was founded by a decree of the President Ilham Aliyev of the Republic of Azerbaijan on September 23, 2016. Over the past nine years, it has made significant contributions to the development of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises based on family labor, enhanced employment opportunities, and supported entrepreneurial initiatives in the regions.
