A presentation ceremony of "Sevdiyim" project was held
On May 11, 2018, there was held a presentation of the project "Sevdiyim" dedicated to the 95th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev, and the 100th anniversary of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic.
The event was attended by Fuad Alasgarov, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Law Enforcement and Military Affairs; Abulfas Garayev, Culture and Tourism Minister; Azad Rahimov, Youth and Sports Minister; Ulvi Mehdiyev, Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations and other guests.
During his speech, Fuad Alasgarov said that the tricolor flag of independent Azerbaijan was first approved by the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic on November 9, 1918. "Unfortunately, this flag was able to wave over the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic only 23 months. However, despite the collapse of the Republic, the people of Azerbaijan have always kept alive the independence flag in their own hearts and after 70 years again took the ownership over it. On November 1990, at the Nakhchivan Supreme Assembly session, at the initiative of Heydar Aliyev, the tricolor flag was re-elected as a state flag.
Assistant to the President noted that during the reign of national leader Heydar Aliyev in Azerbaijan, our country has passed a successful way of development. Political stability was ensured in Azerbaijan, the process of state building was successfully implemented, and the Constitution of independent Azerbaijan was adopted.
Minister of Culture and Tourism- Abulfas Garayev said that great leader Heydar Aliyev had a special place in the history of Azerbaijan and today Heydar Aliyev's policy is being successfully continued by Mr. Ilham Aliyev.
Minister Azad Rahimov said that 2018 is a year of very important events. One of them is the 95th anniversary of great National leader - Heydar Aliyev, the work of which has a great importance on the life of our people and our state.
Chairman of the State Agency - Ulvi Mehdiyev said that Azerbaijan has a decent place among the world countries as a result of national leader Heydar Aliyev's policy: "After the independence of the second time, great leader Heydar Aliyev did not allow our state to repeat the destiny of ADR. He could unite everyone under the single flag. Today Azerbaijan has become a leader in the region. "
After the speeches, a video clip based on the poem of the well-known poet, playwright, Jafar Jabbarli - "Sevdiyim” and reflecting the century-old history was presented.
The composer and performer of the work is Honored Artist of the Republic Tunzale Aghayeva, and the director of the clip is Ulviya Konuldyr. The artistic part of the event was performed by honored artist Tunzala Aghayeva.
It should be noted that the project - “Sevdiyim”, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the foundation of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic, has been launched jointly by “ASAN service”, “ASAN Volunteers” and “ASAN Radio”.
